Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Here's a look at the trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, the movie based off of the comics by Brian Lee O'Malley. I'm a fan the comics and the movie looks really fun. It comes out August 13th.

Twilight 8-Bit Interactive Game

Whether or not you are a fan of Twilight this rpg is pretty hilarious. Summit has been removing it but hopefully there are still some links around. Within the first five minutes of playing I managed to get Bella beat to death with a baseball bat. It was pretty awesome!

Just Because Pic of the Day

Machete Trailer

The trailer for the new Robert Rodriguez film Machete is out. I saw it before Predators and it looks good. It seems like the kind of action movie I like, full of gory action funness.

Star Wars Celebration V

Since it is summer and the time for every geeky convention ever to take place, Star Wars Celebration V is approaching. It is going to happen August 12-15 in Orlando Florida. This where all your Star Wars dreams can come true. (Mine involves hanging out with Carrie Fisher who is, in my opinion, one of the greatest people ever!). They have started releasing promos featuring the new Florida setting. They’re pretty awesome. Here are the ones I’ve seen.

Deathly Hallows Trailer!

I know it came out about two weeks ago but I was out of town and computerless then. This looks sooo good. I know the first doesn't come out until November but I don't care. I can't wait for more trailers to be released in the future.

Just Because Pic of the Day

So I have all these great pictures but nothing much to say about them other than they make me happy. Many are covers from old pulp magazines and others are pure randomness. I decided why not post them just because. Here's to number one.

Comic Con 2010

One of the country’s largest conventions, San Diego Comic Con, is approaching. It takes place on July 22-25. There are so many panels covering an insane amount of topics I can’t list them all, but I did write down a few. Some of the movies that will be discussed are Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Salt, The Hobbit, Tron: Legacy, Battle: Los Angeles, The Other Guys, The Green Hornet, Thor, and Captain America. There will also be several Adult Swim shows, USA shows, True Blood, Caprica, Futurama and V. In addition there will be comic discussions of every kind, previews of many upcoming video games, and one of my favorite things, toy premiers. Basically there is so much that will be there I can’t touch on half of it. Check out Comic Con’s website for a complete (and very long) list of every panel.

The Many Maimings of Second Coming

For those of you who are up to date with the current multi-book X-men story arc you know that there have been an insane amount of deaths and loss of limbs. It’s kind of crazy. On the Comic Vine website they actually listed all of the deaths and injuries that have occurred. It’s really funny to see it written out that way. I don’t want to spoil anything for people, but if you’re interested, it’s on this page toward the middle. http://www.comicvine.com/second-coming/39-55971/

And Colossus is fine but check out the craziness of his arm.

Retro Game Remembrance

It's been a while since I had a shout out to an old classic. Actually it's been a while since I posted anything (My trip to Wizarding World, which was incredible and will be detailed later, is to blame). I figured it is time to focus on another game. This time I'm going with one of the ultimate classics, Super Mario Brothers. For those of us lucky enough to have owned the first Nintendo System, this was the game that came with it. Here are some screen shots to bring back those oh so sweet memories.

Lego Harry Potter Finally Here!

So one of the games I've been waiting on seemingly forever has finally arrived, Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4. I'm a huge fan of all the lego games, especially the Star Wars one, and this looks to be just as good. I also really like the fact it is only for the first four years. Hopefully we will have a years 5-7 to look forward to. Here's a trailer of the game. Looks like hours of magical funness.
