This time I've got some pumpkins that took a different approach when being carved. Instead of the classic face thing they opted to display a scene or turn into something else. I kind of want to marry the death star pumpkin.
This time I'm going to feature Mothman toys. This monster is close to my heart because i spent my early years in a near by town. Some of these are creepy, some dirty, and one is owned by me!
Since I've posted a couple of things about Little House on the Prairie recently I thought it was only right that this trailer be posted. It's from the 1950's and stars Pa himself, Michael Landon, as one super awesome teenage werewolf.
Here are a few pictures of some pumpkins that got in the Halloween spirit. These take the more traditional approach and focus on giving the pumpkin some serious face time.
To keep with the Little House on the Prairie theme I've got going today I found this video someone made that proves Little House is not only moral family lessons, but also some weird messed up shit.
Alison Argrim, aka Nellie Olsen herself, recently release Confessions of a Prairie Bitch. It covers not only her time on Little House on the Prairie, but the rest of her life as well. If you’ve ever been a fan of Little House I really recommend it. She provides a lot of insight as to what it was really like on the set. Also, she confirmed my suspicions that the actress who played Mary Ingalls, Melissa Sue Anderson, really is a terrible person. The book is really hilarious and a fast read. There are some unpleasant memories shared, but she does it in a way that keeps it from getting too heavy. Anyway, the cover pretty much sums up the feeling of the book. It’s good. Go buy it. Here are some classic Nellie pics.
For any fans of the Buffy Season 8 comics or just Buffy in general, the complete season 8 series has been made into a motion comic. It's currently available on iTunes, but on January 4th it will be released on DVD and Blu Ray. I'm really excited. The comic picks up where the last season of the series left off. Here's a look at the trailer.
The other day I mentioned that I watched Jaws 2 recently. I don't see how I could possibly post something about that movie without showing one of the greatest scenes, when Jaws takes down a helicopter.
These are really awesome. They were made for Star Wars Celebration V. I really wish I could have some of these for breakfast. I mean what a way to start the day. The Hothsted Flakes is my favorite. There is just something about that wampa.I think it's the sad eyes...
Welcome to a Hidden in the Basement. This is the home of all things geeky whether it’s comics, sci fi, horror, video games or just a love of dragons. Pull out your dice, put on some glasses and grab a mountain dew.
